February 2009 A Palestinian demonstrator, Abu Sadi, marches at the construction site of Israel’s separation barrier in the village of Bilin, near the West Bank town of Ramallah. For four years this march takes place in order to resist the oppression of the Israeli settlers. The demonstration often leads to violence on both sides. While the Israeli army launches tear-gas, the Palestinians use stones. |
