Semana Santa

The Semana Santa, the holy week of Easter which takes place every year in Andalusia consists of many processions in which different brotherhoods carry the statues of Jesus Christ and Maria during day and night. The brotherhoods which wear traditional clothes are followed by fanfares and a tumultuous crowd of people. These photographs are taken in Cordoba, Seville and Malaga.
