Zanzibar Youth
Stone town, Zanzibar - 2006

With a smile on their faces, they walk trough the small streets of Zanzibar. Joy and young manhood fill the cozy alleys of this multicultural Island. They all come together on a small patch of beach where the sewage system emerges. An old flat car-tire is put on the beach so they can jump high in the air. The water is used for swimming (with their clothes still on) and big stones are collected and used as dumb-bells to get a more muscular appearance.
