Wired
Vught, The Netherlands - July 2007 The Concentration Camp in Vught is known for its cruel tortures and its high death-toll. Because my grandfather used to be imprisoned in this camp, I tried to only focus on the feeling of being wired, of being totally excluded from the outside. The claustrophobic and no-way-out fence made sure practically no one escaped this camp. Nowadays it is a museum to remind the world that massacres of World War II should never be repeated. |
